Meeting guest Bert Hunt surprised and amazed the 2025 AGM meeting with a long lost brass plaque commemorating the work of pupil and Old Retfordian M C Chislett, known to his compatriotes as simply Chis.
Bert also revealed the existence of two previously unknown archive boxes held by Nat West at the time of the school closure and believed to hold a number of silver prize trophies awarded to exceptional achievers in the annual Speech Day celebrations. [webmaster 2025-04-27 15:04:40]
