First to be demolished was the 1950s art block
Later to be demolished was the Sixth Form block to the left of the Hall, opposite the Cloisters, as well as the new craft block that stood between the two, and in front of the old gymnasium/dining hall.
In 2012 the bulldozers finally went in to begin redeveloping parts of the site, starting with the newer buildings not protected by listed building status.
