Mike Underwood recalls: "I left during the third year as we moved away from Retford. This is possibly why a number of boys signed the reverse, I can't properly recall. E Hare handlily dated his signature 2.5.1969…..I enjoyed my time at the school and was sad to leave it. I remember getting detention in the first year for failing to doff my cap to a master on the way to school!"
