Mike Underwood recalls "In the 1967 photo Paul [Tranter], wearing shorts, is sitting next to me on the front row, I am second from the end. I remember he was the only boy wearing shorts in the first year.....I enjoyed my time at the school and was sad to leave it. I remember getting detention in the first year for failing to doff my cap to a master on the way to school!
