A Bill for the Term 1931

In 1931 Mr CC Braithwaite received an invoice from Mr Pilkington-Rogers, head of Retford Grammar School, for the costs incurred in teaching his son Clarence Braithwaite for one term (£4 15s 1d). A distant photo of young Clarence appears on the 1933 School Panorama at position 39. Clarence did particularly well in Spring Term 1935, gaining several prizes in Form 1Vb.
